Ergonomics

Ergonomics is the science of designing working conditions and job demands to match the capabilities of the working population with the purpose of reducing or eliminating musculoskeletal disorders (MSD). Work-related MSDs are a leading cause of pain, suffering, and disability in American workplaces. Such disorders are caused or aggravated when workplace stressors such as overexertion, repetitive motion, and awkward or static postures overcome the body’s capacity to withstand these stressors.

Our ergonomics assessment may be performed in an industrial or an office environment. We perform ergonomic assessments that focus on both identifying and reducing workplace stressors, and increasing workers’ capacity to withstand these stressors through individual wellness programs. This two-pronged approach to ergonomic assessments assures optimum productivity, avoidance of illness and injury risks, and increased satisfaction among workers.
